Classes run in 6 week blocks with class taking place once a week every Saturday. Class is always on a Saturday and it lasts for one hour, commences at 4pm and finishes at 5pm (please note this normally moves to 2pm – 3pm on Saturdays during winter as soon as the clocks change however since I broke my foot I will be taking this winter off).
The course costs £60 payable in advance. Class size is maximum of 6 puppies or dogs. Dummies etc are provided throughout the course but you can bring your own.
Hoops and placeboards etc are provided throughout the course but you are requested to bring your own dummy, if you are unsure where to purchase one I can advise and they are relatively inexpensive.
Occasionally I hope to be able to offer an extra session at a different location for waterwork but this will not be a guaranteed part of the courses, classes or 121s. The water would take place at a secondary location which will involve travel and will be offered as an event at additional cost and payable separately and is always strictly subject to availability.
Sessions cover a wide variety of issues such as:
- Stop whistle
- Delivery to hand
- Directional work
- Whistle training
- Water confidence – subject to availability
- Dummy work
- Placeboard Training / Waits
We run our own assessment scheme which takes you from fledgling through to experienced level, details of which can be found on our Awards/Assessment Scheme page.
If you have specific things that you wish to work on then consider booking a private session where the time can be tailored to suit your specific needs.
Once your place is agreed you will be sent your payment link.
