What its important to know before you read this section
In the section below that mentions what I have done with my own dogs, those dogs are not perfect, over all my years with dogs we have worked through all sorts of things such as various levels of reactivity (to dogs and people), barking at strangers, not being happy to be left alone (yet not separation anxiety, true separation anxiety is rare), recall issues, resource guarding and so much more. I say this because I want you to know that nothing is easy, but everything is possible! No dog is perfect, except in our hearts…..
At the bottom of this page there are further details on my experience, but with my own dogs I have:
- Worked my dogs rough shooting
- Worked through reactivity
- Worked my dogs commercial in video and photographic shoots for major household brands
- Shown my dogs, including placing at Crufts and in FCI abroad
- My dogs hold various trick dog Champion titles and KC good citizen awards
- Won numerous breed awards with my dogs
- We've tried our hand at working trials and blood tracking and had fun mantrailing and doing scentwork
- Bred two litters who are all doing amazingly - they all leave home recall trained, crate training, used to all sorts of experiences and noises and surfaces etc
- Competed in and won/placed consistently in all the following: Gundog working tests, Obedience, Agility
- Worked my dogs beating
